71 New Leads In Green Section Below
So close to a huge storage collection
But not close enough. I seen a listing for a massive card collection not too far from me. It was a person who buys storage units and sells the contents. Well, this one was packed full of sports cards so he had me foaming at the mouth.
I’ve never really done monster collections that sat in storage so I don’t even know if they would be in good shape. I just know it was close to Chicago and you know who was collected heavy in that area. My boy MJ, oh yeah!
Anyways, I will let you know when it does happen, but for now I deal with collections from my leads. You should too.
Only investing in proven players
As I’m writing this, I remembered I was on a Bedard chase not too long ago 🤪
Trust me, that is not my normal at all. It was that urge to chase $1 million, and get my hit of dopamine for the year. Either way, its over and I focus on collections that have accumulated dust from many years of sitting.
The one issue I still have today is not knowing what I am missing or overlooking. In almost every collections I buy, I learn about some new or rare insert that I should have been looking out for. This happens all the time so I can’t even imagine what I’ve missed.
I am going to create a spread sheet or something simple to learn and know what to look for so I can study. When buying large card collections from the 50s-70s you don’t worry about rare low pop cards, they didn’t have that many.
Now, when buying collections from the late 1990’s to 2010 you have so many different inserts that can easily be overlooked. Sometimes they look the same as the others, unless you look on the back.
When I get this list or book…lol, I will share if you want this info.

YouTube - Sports Card Investor this channel is great, more focused on the current hype in the game but still a great channel with top quality hobby info to stay current.
YouTube - Junk Wax Investor here you can learn about the valuable cards that lay in those junk wax stacks or boxes. This channel talks all about the good stuff from the junk wax times. Yes, junk wax still have some value….
YouTube - Chasing Cardboard if like the chase/hunt for sports cards then you will enjoy this show. Its one of my favorite shows, not only because I was going to create the same thing almost, but because its just fun. I was so close to doing this, but couldn’t miss my family. It’s like American Pickers but for sports cards.
eBay - CountryCards here is my eBay store just in case you want to know what I have for sale, many of the cards I write about are for sale here.
Auction Company - Gem-Mint Auctions Great cards, Great prices. Don’t want to miss out on this site/app. It’s always good to have options with collecting.
SGC Grading - This is my preferred company to Grade Cards as you will come to see in my images that I share. They might not pull the same premium as some others, but I sure do like them.
PSA Grading - As you know, this is another highly recommended way to Grade Cards. The PSA slab is slightly smaller and thinner than SGC, and with different colors.
As you know, I buy collections all the time. So if you have a card collection you are looking to sell, please reach out to me either by replying to this email, or emailing me at [email protected]
Collections Leads For You
Here’s how this works. I run special advertising all over the USA, specifically looking for card collections. I get some basic collection info from sellers and a email in order to connect you. I try to filter the junk out as much as possible and to be completely transparent it’s possible I have interest in some of the stuff that comes up. Realistically though, I can’t buy them all and I usually like to buy stuff that is local anyways. I try to stay within a 6-8 hour radius of my location at most in Eastern Iowa. I get good leads everywhere from NY-CA!
These FREE Leads below have not been seen by anyone else, they are FRESH weekly and ready for you to explore.
