Happy Thanksgiving
Let's get to the meat.. I mean Turkey
Good Morning fellow sports card lovers! I hope you all are enjoying your Thanksgiving Day morning like I am. As we grow and improve this newsletter, more and better things will arrive so please be on the lookout.
The Hunt Continues and along the way I have found some good stuff. This past week I found 5 old dusty boxes filled with 70’s baseball to an Authentic 1954 Topps Henry Aaron rookie and more. This is all from my marketing that I do to find new off market collections in my area.
Below in GREEN you can see the info about the (Collection Leads) for you to explore. These are all off market leads that I generate for you, to help you find collections all around the country. In your area or my mail, you choose.
I Read This Story In The Local Newspaper 30+ Years Ago
Arlo Quint, a curious 12-year-old boy, embarked on a simple worm-hunting adventure next to the barn in his quaint hometown of Maine. Little did he know that this ordinary expedition would lead him to stumble upon an astonishing treasure. As Arlo dug deeper into the soft earth, his shovel struck an unexpected object, but it wasn't a worm. To his surprise, he unearthed an old, rusty can. Excitement coursed through his veins as he pried open the lid, revealing four baseball cards resting inside.
Unbeknownst to Arlo at the time, he had just discovered a collection that would change his life forever. Among the four cards was an incredibly rare Honus Wagner, considered the holy grail of baseball cards, valued at millions of dollars. Arlo's heart raced with disbelief and wonder as he held this piece of history in his hands.
Word spread quickly within the small community, and soon, collectors and enthusiasts from near and far flocked to Maine, eager to catch a glimpse of this extraordinary find. The media frenzy began, with news outlets clamoring for interviews with the young boy who somehow stumbled upon such an unbelievable treasure. Arlo's quiet life transformed into a whirlwind of attention and excitement.
Expert appraisers carefully examined the Honus Wagner card, verifying its authenticity and confirming its astronomical value. Arlo's humble discovery had turned him into an overnight sensation, attracting offers from wealthy collectors and auction houses from around the world.
The T206 Honus Wagner card sold in 2021 for $7.25 Million

YouTube - Sports Card Investor this channel is great, more focused on the current hype in the game but still a great channel with top quality hobby info to stay current.
YouTube - Junk Wax Investor here you can learn about the valuable cards that lay in those junk wax stacks or boxes. This channel talks all about the good stuff from the junk wax times. Yes, junk wax still have some value….
YouTube - Chasing Cardboard if like the chase/hunt for sports cards then you will enjoy this show. Its one of my favorite shows, not only because I was going to create the same thing almost, but because its just fun. I was so close to doing this, but couldn’t miss my family. It’s like American Pickers but for sports cards.
eBay - CountryCards here is my eBay store, nothing to exciting but you will see either way, just in case you want to know what I have for sale or connect.
Auction Company - Gem-Mint Auctions Great cards, Great prices. Don’t want to miss out on this site/app. It’s always good to have options with collecting.
SGC Grading - This is my preferred company to Grade Cards as you will come to see in my images that I share. They might not pull the same premium as some others, but I sure do like them.
PSA Grading - As you know, this is another highly recommended way to Grade Cards. The PSA slab is slightly smaller and thinner than SGC, and with different colors.
This is only the beginning, much more to come every week. I may get a small commission from some of these links but you will pay the same.
Collections & Leads For You To Explore
OK, so I imagine this is your favorite part. Here’s how this works. I run special advertising nationally looking for collections. People reach out and say, “hey I have this for sale” I get some basic info and a email in order to share with you. I try to filter the junk out as much as possible and to be completely transparent it’s possible I have interest in some of the stuff that comes up. Realistically, I can’t buy them all and I usually like to buy stuff that is local anyways. I try to stay within a 6-8 hour radius of my location at most in Eastern Iowa.
These Leads below have not been seen by anyone else, they are FRESH and ready for you to explore. Most have came in within the last week.
Cincinnati, OH - (Eddie - cecilmorris720@gmail) It mainly consists of sealed wax and sets, looks like stuff from the late 90s - mid 2000s. Possibly more but only show me this so far.
Knoxville, TN - (John - nutfanc77@gmail) This guy has some very nice graded Hank Aaron cards. I seen pics of higher grade 70s Hank cards. Also seen some nice stuff from the 60s.
Iowa - (Nathan nateg6103@gmail) Collection of over 40,000 cards. Everything from baseball, basketball, pokemon & magic. Lots of valuable cards and looking to sell.
Its a busy day running around to family parties and eating food, so I better get going. Everyone be safe and enjoy your holiday!
See you on the next one.
I hope you find some great cards or collections. Keep Hunting!
Stay Well
